All extended warranties come with exclusions, even the most protective plans. None of Fair’s plans cover wear and tear items like brake pads and rotors, engine oil and filters, windshield wipers, and tires. We also exclude preexisting conditions, so while your car doesn’t have to be in showroom condition, it should be free of mechanical problems before signing up for a warranty plan. Finally, Fair’s plans don’t cover vehicle modifications, including aftermarket turbochargers, cold air intakes, performance suspension systems, and more.
